Ultra Mecha Battling Circuit is written and created by D W Ó Boyle. D W has been a creative individual interested in various mediums throughout their life. They are probably best known for their video and tabletop games, such as Void Wisp and Our Pantheon, as well as composing music for such games as Earthtongue. You can find their gaming related projects over on their itch.io page linked below. 

D W is non-binary and uses he/they pronouns. They are also a disabled colorectal cancer survivor. Originally from New Jersey, they currently reside in Seattle WA. UMBC as a project came to them after watching the majority of the Gundam franchise during the COVID-19 pandemic and receiving a MG RX-78-2 v1.5 gunpla kit as a gift for recovering from surgery. This exposed them to the joys of plastic model building and eventually led them to the 30 Minute Missions line of model kits. Shortly afterwards the idea that would become UMBC arrived.
